Payday Gymnastics started with a simple observation: there is a lot of advice about what people should do with money, and not nearly enough understanding of what it feels like when a housing payment, car bill, family expenses, and a paycheck all land on the wrong dates.
We're building a practical guide for working people who need to make real decisions in real time. It draws on the founder's lived experience juggling household bills, alongside direct research into financial products. We don't pretend that experience is a professional qualification, or that one product solves every problem.
What you'll find
- Tools for organizing paychecks and understanding bill dates.
- Plain-language product reviews based on published policies and, where clearly stated, actual experience.
- Costs and disadvantages next to claimed benefits.
- Referral links identified before you click—not buried in small print.
What you won't find
No guaranteed savings. No claims that a product has been tested when it hasn't. No manufactured testimonials. No promises that an app will repair credit, erase debt, or solve a shortfall on its own.
Our starting point
We began with Split Pay because the problem of mismatched paydays and bills is familiar. We also added Goodbudget and Rocket Money because they address different problems and have free tiers worth comparing. One has a referral relationship; the others do not.
